   Out of town guests and wanted to try a steakhouse I can’t get at home and haven’t had while traveling elsewhere. Entered the property and made our way to the restaurant. The ambiance and décor made for a great first impression! Hubby and I were promptly greeted and seated for our reservation (which is a must have for dinner). Our server, Cameron, welcomed us, presented us with menus, and reviewed the offerings. He was knowledgeable about food items and was able to answer our questions. Also, he was able to speak in depth about the bourbon list—this made hubby very happy. Cameron appropriately coursed our meal so we didn’t feel rushed. Speaking of the meal, the steaks (filet / NY strip, both medium) were great! The apps, sides and dessert, meh. That the star of the show was delicious and the overall price was reasonable, we’d recommend adding Dean’s to your list of options. One STRONG recommendation: at least for dinner, stick to your published dress code. You’ve set a reasonable standard, stick to it. It’s ok to say ‘no’ especially when you’ve informed. Seeing the guy in shorts and sneakers with the trucker hat to-the-back…don’t think this is the look you’re going for—bringing us back to where we started, ambiance and decor(rum).

   Excellent restaurant. Every Kimpton Hotel I’ve been to in the last 30 years has had an outstanding restaurant. This one reinforces that reputation. Excellent service from Cameron, wonderful ambiance. We had the signature Santo steak and Madagascar shrimp— wonderful!!

   The dinner was amazing. Victoria was very helpful as well as all of the other staff that stopped by to make sure our glasses were filled and that we didn’t need anything. The food was delicious and we didn’t feel rushed through the meal.

   This was our third time dining at Deans and once again it did not disappoint. The food was fabulous as always and Jorge our server, elevated our experience to the next level! Andres the sommelier,, was knowledgeable, friendly and gracious. We are definitely returning and also encouraging friends and family to make a reservation at this all around wonderful restaurant!!!

    This really seems like a hidden gem. Such amazing food in a beautiful atmosphere. I highly recommend Deans. You won’t be disappointed. It was perfect for our date night.
