We believe in living a clean, natural and organic lifestyle mirroring that of the old world, where people eat only local foods. Most of our ingredients are certified organic and we source from local farmers to promote sustainability. We want to showcase how fertile the Southern Oregon valley is and the amazing bounty available from local farmers.

We're excited to share our wine and food knowledge with Southern Oregon. We want to educate anyone willing to learn on wines of the world as well as how they compare to local wines. We will strive to constantly create new menu items and wine pairings.

                                          Our entire experience was fantastic. The duck wings were crispy and delicious, the lamb was tender and a perfect medium rare and the harissa cauliflower steak was perfect. Service was amazing as well, everyone was so friendly and attentive but not hovering. Can’t wait to go back!

                                          1st time visit. Phenomenal meal and experience on New Year’s Eve at Decant. Service was absolutely top notch - closer to SF or NYC professional staff than the norm in Rogue Valley. Food - both specials of Dungeness crab arancini and west coast mussels in a pork foam and mains like lamb chops and harissa cauliflower steak were delicious and had us scarpetta-ing up the flavors with their high quality focaccia. The wine list is top 2 or 3 in the Valley with thoughtful curation and inclusion of both global and local bottlings. Wow quality restaurant and a new find for us that will be in heavy rotation when we have guests in town.

                                          The service was excellent, the food was lukewarm, the music was too loud, but all in all it was an enjoyable meal but for a hungry man there wasn't enough. It would be nice to have a meal served with a salad and bread in the price included rather than to have to order separate bread and separate salad which could be accomplished by raising the price of the meal to accommodate this need. It is very elegant food, elegantly presented.

                                          This was our first time dining at Decant and we loved it! The food, service, and ambiance, were excellent! I ordered the Black Cod and was blown away by the complementary flavors and textures in the dish. The chef really hit it out of the park with this one! We will be back!

                                          We were seated promptly per our reservation and our experience was supported by warm and appropriately-paced service. Each dish was cooked impeccably, the Pistachio Crusted Lamb Loin just as tender and flavorful as could be. I wouldn't have minded a more adventurous wine list but it was easy to find a good wine that worked well (a 2017 Barbaresco for us). We'll definitely return the next time we are in Medford.
