Desi Vega is the restaurateur of Desi Vega's Steakhouse, Mr. John's Steakhouse, and Desi Vega's Prime Burgers & Shakes. Desi grew up in the restaurant business and was groomed by Ella Brennan at Commander's Palace, Ruth Fertel of Ruth's Chris Steakhouse and Emeril Lagasse. His attention to detail and commitment to excellence makes for a truly memorable dining experience.
Our USDA Prime steaks are carefully selected, hand-cut and aged for tenderness, then seared to perfection and served on a sizzling plate. Seafood selections include steamed crabs and lobster, Gulf fish in various preparations each day, and plenty of other seafood.

    Food was good : I had the scallops and my husband had the filet medium . I wish it was more for the price. The Mac and cheese has roast beef in it . The brussel sprouts were good

    Service and food was great. The parking garage was not the best experience for our first time, but overall nice fancy dinner date.

    We encountered some issues there know where there was the grilled shrimp Poboy was prepared as fried so I had to have my entrée re-done entirely while my wife received her tray and eight. It was sub optimal. But this is a first time us encountering an issue like this at Desi Vegas and hopefully won't happen again.

    The food was excellent - the service was very good. There was a mixup on the appetizer however. We ordered an appetizer for the table and they brought out an appetizer for each customer. We thought they should have offered to take them back, but they did not.

    If I could give ten stars for service, I would. We always have a good experience there, but last evening we had a Great experience thanks to our server and the team. The food was excellent as always, and we had a fantastic evening with friends.
