It was years ago that we ate here and we wanted something different from our usual restaurants so we returned. Staff was very gracious and welcoming. My husband ordered the schnitzel because it has been awhile since our time in Germany/Austria. He was disappointed. I tried the Mongolian beef—mistake. I’d had it years ago at a restaurant in Washington DC and liked it. This was inedible. Beef cooked to the point of crunchy dryness, some of it burnt. The waitress immediately offered a substitute dish, as did the manager, but I didn’t want to wait for a replacement. I ate a little more of the rice and called it done. We ordered crème brûlée to share and it was good. Then the waitress brought the bill—they comped both my dinner and the dessert. Gratefully received. I loved the wine—a blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet. Staff was outstanding and gracious, which we appreciated. A very noisy atmosphere—live music then everyone talking very loudly to be heard over the band. Not the overall experience we had hoped to have.

We went for a small retirement dinner and it was busy. We were seated in a small private room and it was great. Service was good and everyone’s meal was perfectly plated, hot and delicious. No one had the same meal. Ribeye, chicken, roast, meatloaf, steak salad. The price was reasonable for a restaurant like this. Loved it.

We were a bit disappointed with the green chile stew. It was not broth than hearty with meat etc.

It is a very pleasant venue, which we have enjoyed in the past. I was surprised that the food was not up to the level that we expected and had gotten in previous visits. Both dishes, the pot roast and Mongolian chicken were disappointing. My wife had the pot roast and it was tough and she just couldn't eat it. She said that it tasted like it had been sitting around. The same was true for the chicken. I did tell the waiter about the issue, and he said he was sorry to hear that, but he did not offer any resolution for the problem. As I said, a disappointing experience overall.

We had meatloaf and salmon with side salads and wine. Everything was wonderful. Loved the wine flights and the many wine choices. The food was excellent and a great value for the price. Just passing through, but it would be a regular stop if we lived nearby.

Several good things. We went 12/28/24 6:30 pm Food was amazing. Server, Phoenix was the best! Fair pricing. Reservation was held and we were seated immediately. Couple of "off" things. They sat us in the tent. The heaters were burning me even after we moved. The wind kept our feet cold! Parking is super tough during peak.
