   This is one of my favorite restaurants in Pompano. I’ve been there several times and often go when company comes. I love the ambience the complexity of the fact they make all their own pasta and serve up our unique dishes that seem like Italian with quite a twist. There’s many unique combinations. I’d love the idea of pork belly, croutons, and the Caesar salad. This particular time I only disappointment was one of our guest had pasta carbonara and it was just OK. I know food is expensive but sometimes $70-$80 for a special is a bit high, but the portions are big. This will still continue to be one of my favorite places and where I will always bring guest and family

   Our second time at Di Farina......better than the first! Food, wine & service is top notch. Some unique dishes that we have not seen at other restaurants. My wife and I and our little ones enjoyed all our dishes. Marcello has the touch to make his guests feel welcome and comfortable.......Di Farina, congratulazione per la nostra esperienza ben fatta!    First time there, everything was excellent!!! We will definately be back , especially to try some specials ! We had the meatballs, boratta, meat lasagna, and short rib pappardelle all on menu. They evan gave us a tour of their attached store where you can purchase meats and fresh pastas that are served in restaurant as well as other Italian products !

   Amazing hospitality starts with the hostess and we had a great arrival experience. The food was superb. We had the ravioli with mushrooms and puttanesca fettuccine. The appetizers were great too. Best cheesecake ever with berries compote. Cappuccino excellent. Our waiter Vincenzo was so gracious, explained the specials and menu to us and was very attentive. The manager/owner checked on us often. We would greatly recommend.

   Saturday night, crowded noisy, but seated right away. Chairs were not comfortable, tight seating, but hey. Large portions, so there’s that. Caesar salad was good but the “pork belly croutons” were not edible. I had pasta primavera which was not prepared right. It was in a red sauce?? I mean red as in what grandma puts on her meatballs. Totally overwhelmed the dish. It’s supposed to be a light white sauce so that the vegetables can shine through. The red sauce was tasty, but the dish was all wrong. The octopus tentacle was as thick as my forearm, very tender but lacking flavor. Two people had the grouper which was a hefty piece of fish for sure, but thickly coated in breadcrumbs, which was not necessary (one guest enjoyed it, the other one didn’t.) The lobster ravioli was a hit with one guest, the Wagyu Milanese got an OK from another guest. Our server, (Hoshi??) was excellent. I was at Di farina when it first opened. The only thing I liked was the outstanding cheesecake. Thought I would give it another try but with so many great places (Gianni’s a block away and LaPearla on the other side of federal,) I can’t see “rolling the dice” here.

   Went to dinner with three other people and everything that was ordered was delicious. Value for quality is great. Will definitely be going back to try other things on the menu.

    Cute little spot but the food falls far short. Tiny portions, overpriced and the whole table was disappointed. We were excited to try this spot, the waiter was great, nice crowd, just disappointed not to have good food.
