   I have eaten here for years and house filet is always delish. Food tonight was cold and had been sitting out. Not my usual experience. Very disappointed.

   We were in an awesome corner room, with about 6 tables, was very quiet and perfect for my husband and I to celebrate my birthday! Very loud, drunken guests were seated in the room before we were done, which was sad, but at least it wasn't the whole time. Our waitress was fine, but not particularly great. We did enjoy the birthday ice cream, very sweet touch. The food was stellar! This is my 3rd birthday dinner here, as we live in MO, we can't make it too often, but we enjoy each time we can!

   We had a great experience at the bar. The bartender was friendly and made excellent drinks. Our experience at the table, however, was disappointing. The server was friendly and told us at the start that everything was a la carte, which we are used to at a steakhouse like this and that they had prime rib as a special. We ordered some wine and were left to decide on our meals. I ordered the prime rib and my husband the rib eye and we ordered some potato and vegetable to share. When the prime rib came it had what looked like a baked potato cut in half on the plate along with a very sickly looking prime rib. It was gray, tough, and not very flavorful. The server asked how things were and I told him the truth. He spoke with the manager who came over I mentioned the potato, which turns out it was twice baked potato unlike anything I had ever seen, and that we were told everything was a la carte and the inedible prime rib. He asked what they could do to make it right and I settled on having them bring me a petite filet. The filet was quite good and my husband was happy with his meal. We both got dessert. And then the bill came. They charged me for the large filet not the petite filet. At this point I had no desire to complain again and we just paid. We were frankly surprised that they didn't actually do much to make the issue with the prime rib right. They simply brought and charged us for another steak. A free dessert or something similar would have gone a long way in making it right!

   My steak was fantastic! I got the strip. My wife got the duck, which was good, but when she tried my steak with the creole butter she wanted to trade. It’s a steakhouse, get steak lol. Our server Reba was excellent and so kind. We are new to the neighborhood and she was so helpful. Great steakhouse with a creole flair.

   Food and service was excellent!!!! We had Cornelius as our waiter and he was on top of everything. Had the petite filet which was cooked perfect. The tomatoe and blue cheese salad was also so tasty. Finished with Creme brûlée that was incredible - very vanilla and smooth. Drinks were also great!!!

   The food was a bit cold and the filet quality was a bit lacking for a steakhouse. Great wine selection and our server was very attentive.

    We have eaten at Dickie’s numerous times and this was by far a less than enjoyable meal compared to other visits. We were sat at a table right by the kitchen door. From the moment we sat down, we were bumped into by wait staff whom you could tell were just as aggravated we were there as we were! No table should be put there. There were quite a few empty tables that would have allowed for everyone to have space. It was definitely a disappointment!!
