Nothing positive to say. Avoid The Arlington’s Valentine dinner. Terrible service, terrible food. Honestly, I cant believe I had to pay for the abuse that was supposed to be a special night with my wife.

We arrived at 7 for our 7:30 reservation. We were finally seated at 8:30. We didn't receive our food until 9:30. The food was just ok. Considering that the meal and tip totalled over $180.00, we were very disappointed. Someone did not plan ahead for valentines Day. They were extremely short staffed. There were hundreds of people waiting to be seated, yet there were empty tables everywhere. I'm not sure what happened, but again.....it was a very disappointing experience. It's not the type of valentines Day memory we wanted, but it's one we will never forget.

Had to wait over an hour past the time of our reservation. Everything else was OK but not great. Our waitress spent a lot of time socializing while ignoring us.

Sad to say it was one of worst dining experiences we’ve had at the Arlington Hotel. Reservations were 2 hours behind schedule and food was cold in the center. Some customers whom had been seated, never received their meals. Others had traveled extensive distances to dine and stay at the hotel; their experience was shattered. Very poor planning by management.

Our reservation was scheduled for 7pm, and by 8pm they still weren't able to seat us. Infact they still hadn't seated others that were scheduled for 6pm. We cancelled and ate at the Seafood Buffet which was very dissapointing

The Arlington advertised a Valentine's Day experience that would be memorable. They did not tell a lie, it was MEMORABLE...in the wrong way! Our reservations were for 6:30 on 2.14.2025. A little before 8:00 pm we were told that it would be another 20 minutes but was offered immediate seating at the Seafood buffet. We opted to eat the seafood buffet for $45 per person. The service was slow and the food was just ok...at best and being very polite! But the food was not worth $45 per plate. We were never offered a discount or much of an apology and the whole dining experience on a very special date was tainted with a very poor experience at the Arlington. As the events unfolded, the long line of people that showed up to check in continued to grow. It would have shown a little class and a little concern from the Arlington if a member of management would have shown up to apologize or offer discounts, but none of that was noted. We stayed the night at the Arlington in one of the hotel rooms and I was hopeful that they would apologize to us or offer a discount or anything upon checkout, but nothing like that happened. Mistakes happen and when they happen your customers get a chance to find out who the company really is. By my standards, this disaster was not acknowledged nor managed well at all. It really, at least to me, shows and illustrates a lack of class. Shame on The Arlington Managment team for allowing this to happen and then failing to acknowledge this and make it right. We are local residents to Arlington and have supported the Arlington by using their facilities for corporate meetings and couple weekends for a long time. With this past experience, we will no longer be supportive and will most likely never be back.

Our reservation was at 6pm and we were sat at 8:30pm. There was some major backup with allowing non reserved folks partake in the special as well as a staffing issue. The server (Aimee)did not know nor could she pronounce the special Valentines menu. We felt sorry for her, I got chopped salad instead of a wedge, and a flat steak instead of a T bone steak. My fiancée received chicken instead of branzino. Chicken instead of fish!! The food was subpar and not hot. The server delivered the dessert on the table when she delivered the entrees citing she didn’t want us to wait any longer than we had to. It was hands down the most bizarre dinner we’ve ever had. And definitely not worth the charge of $65 per person. We were not compensated for the pretty terrible 2.5 hour delay nor the train wreck dinner. A personal visit from the general manager was warranted but did not take place. First and last visit for us.

Girlfriend & I reserved for valentines dinner at 6pm but were told to get there about 15 min early. arrived at 5:48 checked in, they said it’d be a bit but they’d text.told us we could order drinks at bar, waited in the lobby but didn’t get drinks/snack bc we only thought it’d be like 15-30 min. However, After 1 hr waiting, no text so we check. They say they have few empty tables, the’d set them soon, be ready in about 15 min, we were 2nd on list. After another hr, still no text so we check more. Again they say they’re clearing tables, we should be seated soon but we could see empty tables. At 7:50, hostess told us we would have table that is right as you walk in right by piano. He told us we help ourselves to sit down. We were paying about $170 for a meal where we have to seat ourselves. it was disappointing after 2 hrs of waiting only to be seated in the worst area. We were STARVING.table cloth:filthy. We asked to move to better table. Weren’t seated to new table til 8. We sat down suddenly a waitress confused us by asking if we’re there for seafood buffet which was an event by the valentines dinner.no, we had paid for the valentines dinner, waited longtime. She was confused, said no to us like we were wrong til someone told her. She apologized, was nice. I had to ask for drink menu. then we chose our appetizer & main course. had no utensils for 20 min so she brought them wrapped in napkin even though we had napkin. Knife was dirty, had to ask for new, brought wrapped in another napkin. brought out apps in unreasonably large plates French onion soup tasted like tariyaki sauce with few sprinkles of cheese. Bruschetta-awful.of course main course came out 1 min after our apps & there was barely room for plates. had to sit saucer on FLOOR. chicken like fake rubber. Risotto-bland. Uncooked green beans. steak-not MR, like fake meat. Worst bland food ever. cake-dry. DESPICABLE service. Left still starving. Our McDs was better. Whole meal comped but still wont be back
