Dino’s Steak and Claw has an incredible menu and amazing ambiance working in its favor. You can find it in the historic Grapevine area of Dallas. It is in a vintage bank building, and once through the doors, you’ll immediately notice that much of its classic look remains intact.

Of course, you’ll soon be busy with the menu at Dino’s Steak and Claw. As the name suggests, this restaurant is all about surf and turf. However, there is also plenty of poultry to be enjoyed too. You can order things such as beef medallions, Atlantic salmon or a fresh salad. While you eat at Dino’s Steak and Claw, a local pianist will keep you entertained with some light music.

                                                                                        Dino’s has been on a normal rotation for us, but unfortunately, last night service was very slow. Had to send 1 steak back for being very undercooked. Ask for well done (I know horrible) it came medium rare. Also had to send back our scallions. They were cold when they were brought to the table and at best they were room temperature. Had to ask for refills on drinks both times and service was still very slow to provide refills. I get it, It was a Valentines weekend and it was at the end of a dinner rush, but unfortunately, I expect good to great service and above average food whenever I “Fine Dine.”

                                                                                        Can’t believe you charged us a $7 service fee. First time I’ve seen such an extraneous charge on my restaurant bill in Texas. We moved from California partly to avoid such useless and needless charges. And the raw horseradish on the side was $6. We’ve never spent anything to get this on the side. It’s like charging for ketchup when you have fries. Don’t know if these are everyday charges/fees at Dino’s as it was our first time dining there. Or if these were “special” for Valentine’s Day.

                                                                                        We got a late reservation for Valentines, so I somewhat understand, but were seated at table in an open doorway next to a bathroom. At $300 for a dinner for two I expect a little better no matter when I book it. Food was great, kept getting bumped in the back by the waiters.

                                                                                        We had a wonderful experience. Zoey was a great server! The special menu was delicious and the Cupid Sour was a tasty cocktail. The rose at the end was a nice touch. We continue to come back because Dino’s always delivers.
