Award-winning chef Dipna Anand is proud to launch the newest edition to her restaurant collection in Unity Place - Dipna Anand Kitchen & Bar.

Dipna will be offering her authentic Punjabi and South Indian cuisine alongside a selection of traditional favourites at her new kitchen in the heart of Milton Keynes, amidst locally sourced seasonal ingredients for a flavour-rich, planet-friendly experience every time.

Dipna Anand grew up in London amongst a family of chefs. Feeding the nation ‘real authentic’ Indian food at their famous Brilliant Restaurant in Southall (voted as part of Ramsay’s Best for Channel 4), of which Dipna is now co-owner.

Arrived early evening on a sunny day so it was not busy. I would suggest using privacy film for the upper parts of the windows as half the table was blinded by sun. It would be a shame to use blinds for the few days of sun in the UK, altho the plants were looking a little parched. Service was attentive. Plates arrived soon after ordering, and were hot. Mains came out some 10 minutes later and then at least 5 more minutes for the rice to arrive. Didn't understand why the food didn't come out all together as it was quiet. The curries were nice, but not enough if you have are hungry. The portions of rice made up for it, I guess. I was told that this is a celebrity chef, but I am not sure I would recommend on value alone.

I think the special request was ignored and I wonder whether anyone bothered to read or accommodate it. The waiter or the drinks runner were not well dressed and pretty much lousy in his attire and grooming and hardly anybody smiled.

We recently dined at your restaurant and would like to share some feedback for your consideration and future improvement. •Chicken Wings: While the wings had a pleasant flavour, the texture was unfortunately quite disappointing. They were extremely chewy and dry—similar to biting into leather. •Delhi Butter Chicken: This dish was overly sweet and did not reflect the authentic flavours typically associated with Delhi-style butter chicken. •Service: After mentioning that the chicken was very dry, no goodwill gesture or acknowledgement was offered, which left a poor impression. Service overall could benefit from more polish and attentiveness. •Incident with Chutney: One of the waiters accidentally spilled chutney on a jacket. While he was very apologetic and tried to clean it with tissue, there was no offer to have the item dry cleaned or to cover the cost. We didn’t make a fuss at the time, but we do feel this should be standard protocol in such cases. We hope this feedback is taken in the spirit of constructive improvement, as we do see potential in both the food and the overall dining experience with some refinements.

Food was excellent I had the meat thali and there was a lot of it. The menu is not large but that is a good thing as what was on it was well cooked. I would also recommend the toast beer which was great. Lots of people I know recommend this restaurant and our group was not disappointed everyone said they would return .

Third meal at Dipna Anand’s at Unity Place, this time with a friend who’d not been before. Saturday at 4pm the restaurant was quiet as you’d expect but as always the food was delicious and the service lovely. Coming from Greater London we’re used to the very best Curries and Dipnas is my favourite place to satisfy my Indian fix.

This was our third dinner at Dipna Anand and yet again it was excellent. The flavours and selection of dishes are outstanding, none of the precooked food you will get in most indian restaurants. The service was super efficient and at under £50 per head including three drinks it’s still very reasonably prized.

We had a wonderful meal at Dipna’s restaurant. The Thali was excellent value and the saag aloo was a knockout!!
