   The 2 pasta dishes we had did not have a lot of flavor, $28.00 for a bland bolognese is not worth a return trip, service was good

   We’ve been 4-5 times over the past few years. I want so badly to write something glowing about our experience last night, but it’s not happening. We felt rushed from the start. Normally, this would be considered good service. We went from drinks to apps in zero time. Seemed like they wanted to flip the table. Also, my wife ordered the risotto and I had the veal pasta. Both were well undercooked (crunchy risotto and tough chewy pasta). Unfortunately, Dissoto is off our list of go-to Highwood restaurants.

   Great service and great food ! Center of the restaurant is rather loud so sitting around the perimeter is really recommended. Sitting in the bar area was nice until the door to the outside patio kept opening and closing which was letting in a lot of cold air and forced us to put our jackets on. The food was delicious and the service was excellent! Looking forward to warmer weather and comfortable outdoor seating.

   Outstanding Dining Experience with Exceptional Service I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and was thoroughly impressed by both the food and the service. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Nicholas P., the restaurant manager. His professionalism, deep knowledge of the menu, and approachable demeanor truly set the tone for a memorable experience. It’s rare to encounter management so genuinely invested in guest satisfaction. Our server was equally commendable—kind, attentive, and thoroughly professional throughout the evening. Every interaction felt sincere and effortless, contributing to a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. The food itself was exceptional. The beet salad was a standout—fresh, vibrant, and perfectly balanced in flavor. And I have to say, the Bloody Mary was easily the best I’ve had in town: expertly mixed with just the right kick and garnished to perfection. Overall, the experience was excellent from start to finish. This is a place that clearly values quality, both in its cuisine and its customer service. Highly recommended.

   The food was quite good but for my second visit in a row, the dining experience was incredibly rushed. We ordered drinks, then an appetizer, then our meals and were rushed out of there in 1 hour 15 minutes. The service people would hover ready to take our dishes away if we put our forks down for a half minute. We were asked if we were ready to order repeatedly, to the point where we felt pressured. Perhaps they simply don’t allow enough time between reservations, but unless you find yourself roped into dinner with people you can’t wait to be rid of, go somewhere else.

    Everything we ate was delicious - starting with the brussel sprouts and finishing off with tiramisu. Server Seamus was attentive (and patient waiting for us to make decisions!), and all of the busboys stayed on top of keeping our waters filled and plenty of bread coming. GM Nick stopped by to check on us and discovered a connection - played with our dining companions' son when at his grandma's growing up!! Fun chatting and brought us a little limoncello treat ;-) Look forward to our next dinner!
