Christian Encalada, executive chef, who has a successful career as background, graduated at Cenfotur (School of Peruvian and international gastronomy) in Lima Perú, where he took first place in the final cooking exam. His studies were followed by two years in a prestigious hotel in Spain. Worked for Gastón Acurio in “Tanta” for a season and then went back to Spain to improve his culinary style. After going back to Perú, Christian and Frank began the project “Warike” in Chorrillos, Frank giving his support from Alabama and waiting for the project in Miami to come true.

We’ve been here many times over the years and had good experiences but tonight the service lacked. We were a table of 8 and unfortunately our waitress seemed bothered by our requests and just annoyed each time she came by which was seldom since we would have to flag her down for refills, sauces, and even our check. The food was good but spoiled by the attitude which everyone at the table noticed including the birthday guest. I’m hoping this was an off night but just bad for business especially when we spent alot of money there. Management please train Carla, I’m very understanding but this is not acceptable behavior, you lost many customers from my table who will not be back.

A get together turned out perfect among friends from other states, staff was very accommodating with questions and curiosity as related to Peruvian cuisine. Everything turned out perfect, thanks to the staff the great food and atmosphere. Great job!
