Welcome to dLeña, a Wood-Fire Mexican Cocina & Mezcaleria by Chef Richard Sandoval.

dLeña is derived from the Spanish word “leña,” meaning firewood. The restaurant is centered around it’s wood-burning grill - a nod to the rustic open-fire cooking techniques of Mexico’s past.

The menu transports diners to Mexico through a multi-sensory experience in every bite of the signature smoked entrées, fresh ceviches, and unique sharing plates. The expansive bar features hand-crafted margaritas, Latin cocktails, cervezas and vino.

We couldn’t have asked for better service and great food. Everything was excellent! Terry our server was absolutely amazing, true customer delight experience.

The guacamole was a little bit salty since we usually eat only lightly flavored food. The hot stone wagyu beef was a great starter. If the stone can be reheated, that will be even better.

                                                                                      The service for the NYE package was not the best. We had to wait a decent amount of time for our table. Additionally, the pacing of the courses and drinks were off. We would get our food, but not our drinks and vice versa. We paid for the Tomahawk steak addition, but the steak ended up arriving well into our main courses. Our steak was undercooked, but in the interest of time and the spirit of the new year, we took it home.

                                                                                      We had the most amazing time! 10/10 rating. Kyree (Mgr) is very personable and made sure our visit was perfect! We will be repeat customers. Special shout out to Diego (bartender) downstairs at Roja…we got the best Mezcal education and service.
