We turned up there for halfprice margaritas between four and 6 o’clock came out very quickly. Service was impeccable. The staff are very accommodating and really go out to make your experience that happy one. Just want to thank the staff for accommodating my group.

we had the fiesta banquet and found the food very fresh and satisfying. lovely ambiance, best on the peninsula. staff were very friendly and attentive even though ver busy.

Staff is very friendly and attentive. They even put a candle in my dad’s dessert, because they knew it was for his birthday. Tuesday nights are $5 tacos. Tacos are all very yummy. Soft shell crab and the prawn is my favourite. We have been three times this month already. Haven’t had many cocktails, but the Mexican beer is good. We have sat inside and down the back. Probably prefer the back if you are in a group, and inside if you are just a couple. This place is getting a renovation for more outdoor space that will be undercover. This would be the perfect place for young adults to come catch up with their friends and have some drinks, as it stays open late.

We had a birthday dinner there last night (8 people) we were well looked after, the staff were very attentive. Food was amazing as always, can’t wait to go back! Tacos and blood orange and grapefruit margaritas are delicious.

Service was great as always however we made the effort to book and come up from Sydney for a special occasion and had even requested edge seating , we ending up out the back in the overflow area with group bookings. Staff were great and apologized and offered first drink on the house , but staff were scare out there , no toilet paper in toilet and dirty but they were quick to get some and then to their credit we were moved to the main part of the restaurant before receiving our complementary drinks that we did end up paying for in error i believe but however great food and cocktails with great service as always and atmosphere in the main area is fantastic.

We enjoy our time here, ever time we dine here at Dons. The food is wonderful as too are the friendly staff. My wife and friends will continue to eat here as we enjoy it so much.
