   Saw Donovan’s on Nextdoor and tried it. Service was great and the food was delicious. We had salmon and lamb chops for entrees. Highly recommend for a special meal. Pricey, but a nice treat.

   This place never disappoints. We've been here 10-12 times over the years and it's our go-to "let's do steak tonight" place! Great date night place for the wife and I. Steaks done right! Our server Heather nailed everything. From additional info on the sides and dishes to nice convo about her recent dietary changes. Dont miss trying the Meatery

   Truly an amazing surprise! I have lived within 2 miles of Donovan's for almost 5 years, always thought it was a butcher shop for fresh meats.... Thursday l wanted a good steak without having to drive an hour to Charley's. Donovan's came up on a search and figured I'd give it a try. WOW, it did not disappoint!!! I chose to sit at the bar....in the most comfortable bar stool ever! Bartenders Stephen (new guy, first night) and Jess were both great. Jess explained the steak cuts perfectly and very honestly and I went with the 22oz Cowboy Cut Bone in Ribeye along with garlic mashed and the bacon sauteed green beans. The steak was simply incredible and made me a new regular customer! The garlic mashed were Perfecto. The green beans, weren't bad, but they just didn't work for me. For starters I had the (HUGE) Knock Knock Shrimp app which was amazing! To finish, I went with the Peanut Butter Pie.....again, PERFECT!!! Donovan's is Vet owned which was also a draw for me (Retired Air Force) and they offer a great Military discount....Thank You!!! This place is the BEST!!!! I'll be back again and again! Danny

   Overall wonderful experience and every single item we order was delicious! Everything was cooked to perfection. Our server was attentive and very helpful in making sure we received our meal exactly as requested.

   Everything was great except one thing mashed potatoes were pretty dry. We came into dinner around 6:30 so I wish they would’ve recirculated the mashed potatoes. Everything else was fantastic. Best crème brûlée Florida.

   Nice dinner. Food was great and service was fine. Tasty, ample portions. The meatball appetizer was great along with the Caesar salad. Mushroom risotto was memorable.

   Five Stars – A Hidden Gem in Riverview! Donovan’s Meatery Steakhouse is hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm hospitality and a rustic-meets-modern atmosphere that sets the tone for a memorable meal. The steaks? Absolutely phenomenal. Perfectly aged, expertly seasoned, and grilled to perfection—each bite melts in your mouth. I highly recommend the ribeye, but honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The sides are just as impressive—especially the truffle mashed potatoes and roasted Brussels sprouts. What really sets Donovan’s apart, though, is their drink selection. The pairings they offer elevate the dining experience to a whole new level. Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned foodie, the staff is happy to guide you to the perfect pour. Service was top-notch, attentive without being intrusive, and the staff clearly takes pride in the food and the experience they deliver.    Seating arrangements are horrible. Very difficult for wait staff and patrons to move about. It is very loud.

    We had a wonderful 5th anniversary dinner at Donovan’s on Friday. The food was outstanding, and the service was even better (thank you, Heather!!). We love going to Donovan’s!
