    Asked to move because of too many people passing the table. Said no but there remained another empty table close by. Not much vegan course on the menu. The chips are very bad.

    I haven’t had the pleasure of returning to Donovan’s in so many years and this year we decided that it would be the perfect place to experience this beautiful establishment on New Years Eve. Just like I remembered it to be, it was positively delightful. The food is outstanding, the staff are just divine and the atmosphere is simply wonderful. Thank you so much to the team at Donovan’s.

    Enjoyed lunch today, great table looking 👀 out over the bay. The service was friendly and attentive, and our meals were delicious overall. The barramundi disappointing, lacked seasoning and sauce a bit watery. Everything else was memorable.

    We love this place but today the prawns were over cooked and it was near impossible to get them out of the shell. Adding the leek to the plate was pointless as I couldn’t cut this and eat it. The steak was unreal!

    Consistently outstanding food service and ambience. The signature seafood linguine is always delicious with the freshest mussels scallops and prawns. And the Bombe Alaska tastes as amazing as it looks 😋

    I celebrated an early Christmas dinner with my husband to cap off a challenging year. Our waiters and waitresses were uniformly friendly, well-informed and well-trained. It remains a consistent delight to have celebration meals at Donovan's. Well done for maintaining such excellent standards.
