Heard a lot about Doro so finally made the trek from St. Augustine to Neptune Beach. I was a little surprised by the atmosphere and decor - very spartan, white and bright. Had a great little table by the window to watch the passerbys. Food was really good. My wife and i both had the kale salad - real nice. My wife really enjoyed her sea bass ("delicious"!). I had the appetizer pork schnitzel which was okay but I think it was over pounded (couldn't tell it was pork) and over cooked - texture was very flat and like peanut brittle. Maybe it was supposed to be that way but unlike any schnitzel I've ever had. Anyway, we enjoyed it Doro overall. Won't make our favorites list.

The food is consistently well above the norm for this area. The wines are unique and pair well with the dinner entrees.

Precise French technique. Excellent food. Good service. Can taste wine offered by the glass. Very good wine list priced appropriately but no hidden treasures at value prices. Place would be successful in Miami, New York, San Francisco or anywhere else.

We always have a fantastic meal at this restaurant, the best in my opinion in all the beaches. And there are many other excellent restaurants! We prefer to sit at the chefs table so we can see the food being made. Sous chefs etc. are all very personable and explained the dishes. Excellent food in all regards. Excellent choice of wines. Always worth the expense.

The food was amazing, the seating was a little crowded but not too bad. The service was exceptional. Would definitely go back
