   Great Food once again! I had the Sea bass which i normally do not get when i am at a steakhouse but glad i did!! I asked our waiter if he could pair a white wine with it and he hit the nail on the head! My wife had the dry aged ribeye, it was seasoned and cooked perfectly to temp and the glass of Caymus was perfect, as always!! Always look forward to get to eat at Double Cut when we are at the resort, Thank Yall!!

   Our third time to eat here. Service from the kitchen was slow. Server was very polite but not 5star level, iced tea refills never had ice... Wedge salad was very small for the price

   It’s advertise as a Romantic Dinner venue. Not very romantic. when you have screaming and crying children and kids running around throwing ice down each other’s backs. The piano music was so loud we couldn’t even hear each other talk at our table. The server needs a lot more training. I have never been asked if I wanted a 5 ounce or an 8 ounce poor when he was serving us are wine. No communication when some of our sides was not delivered and never came to ask how our food was or if we needed anything else, I could have used another bottle of wine. Food was marginal we asked for medium on our steaks and they were well cooked. We ordered the volcano cake when we ordered our we ordered our meal since it says it takes 20 minutes and he asks when do you want me to put that in my daughter says now since it takes 20?minutes! We don’t believe he put that in since we didn’t get desserts for about 20-30 after we finished eating.

   This is a traditional stop on our annual Christmas tradition at Kalahari. The entire experience is exceptional, we look forward to coming back every year!

   The ambiance is great, but could have music on in the main dining vs just live music in the bar area. Food options are plentiful, but steak was just ok for the price. I had the filet with crawfish etouffee. The etouffee had great flavor but literally was disappointed in the drizzle of it mixed with three small pieces of crawfish. Could’ve used some more if the sauce at least. Husband had the Ribeye but wasn’t as buttery as expected. Kid didn’t like his burger, so wasted it too. Overall ok due to ambiance and experience, but preferred a different steakhouse or better at home.

   I was skeptical of trying the Double Cut after reading the previous reviews. I’m telling yall it was fantastic, the steak was fabulous the appetizer’s so yummy “Hanging Bacon” WOW. If yall are locals in round rock or Hutto give Double Cut a shot it was great.

    It took a while before we got service , then the waitress was pretty good. For the price of the food it was not worth it. Not high quality food or taste. Very disappointed for my birthday dinner. Kids didn’t even like the Mac and cheese. They did bring me a bday cupcake which I appreciates. Won’t be coming back.
