    Outstanding place for an Italian experience. My husband and I (from NZ) visited Doughcraft after watching MKR. Amazing starters and best pasta we ever had. Worth a visit.

    The food was ok my scallops were a bit over cooked but my wife's ravioli was great and her steak tartare was a bit chunky and my prawns were not scaled to what I liked but that's just my opinion. We tried it but won't be back sorry Simone.

    We specifically went to Dough Craft after watching MKR and seeing the most amazing menus created by Simone & Viviana…..we could all but taste it through our tv and had to come try for ourselves and we were not disappointed……the food was magnificent 😋 ….. the service on point and the ambience upbeat yet relaxing…. We even got to see the Chefs in person….beautiful humans….exactly as seen on tv…. Well worth the trip on the train from the Gold Coast, we will absolutely be back 😋

    Pasta was the best I ever had, especially the carbonara, and pizzas were great. But the steak definitely not so much. Sad to say I’ve done much better steak at home . Profiteroles and tiramisu were amazing

    We booked Doughcraft because we'd seen Simone and Viviana on MKR and were so impressed by them. They were exceptional cooks but also humble, kind and respectful people who were great ambassadors for Italy and Queensland. They didn't engage in any back-biting or nastiness while on MKR which made them even more endearing to us and, although they're both very patriotic Italians, we were very proud to claim them as Queenslanders. Doughcraft was fantastic! The food was excellent! We started with arancini balls and cannoli - outstanding! I had a Classic Espresso Martini and it was the best Espresso Martini I've ever had. My husband and I both had the ravioli for main and shared the profiteroles for dessert. Also outstanding! A highlight of the evening was seeing Simone working away at one of the tables. My husband couldn't resist going over and congratulating him. I was concerned this might be annoying as I'm sure he gets congratulated all the time. But, to his credit, Simone was lovely. He wasn't bothered at all and was very friendly. I also saw him being asked for selfies from people at other tables and he was more than happy to oblige. You must try Doughcraft. I honestly couldn't complain about anything. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. We'll definitely be recommending Doughcraft to our family and friends. We can't wait to go back!
