   Typically I have been really impressed with icon restaurants but Dovetail didn’t wow me like other Opentable icon. The service was mixed, the hostess were very warm and welcoming, and initially the servers ( bar) were attentive but then its just stopped. I had the steelhead which was a nice portion and cooked to perfection, the lemon tiramisu was also good. Eventually I got another server that assisted me well. Good but not Great

   Nice simple menu with sufficient choices. Food was tasty, service excellent. The place is extremely noisy, would recommend some acoustic treatment.

   The chicken parmesan is the best. The pastas, cocktails and salads were great. Service was also very good. Highly recommend this restaurant.

   Really disappointed with the overall experience- service was mediocre, hard to hear was very loud and we had tables next to us empty- felt I was shouting whole time we were there. As soon as we all stepped outside (the best part of the day) and began talking (9 of us) ALL commented on how disappointing the food was- Brussel appy were great- but no one else enjoyed their meals- that says it all- I thought maybe it was just me..if your looking to celebrate a bday or special occasion with family-friends- def a place I would not recommend going to. This is a cocktail and appy only kind of place we would say..we will not be returning customers sadly.

   I love Dovetail. My favourite is the spicy vodka pasta with chicken but everything they have is great. Getting a reservation in the evening requires some planning, but coming in the afternoon is always wide open, and preferable for me anyway. They also have lunch specials and the pasta dishes are enough for two. I'm so happy I discovered Dovetail, they have a loyal fan.

   The ambience and food was amazing. I can’t get enough of the spicy vodka pasta. Tried the baby gem lettuce for the first time and it was very good. We were celebrating and one of the servers gave us recommendations of places to after our lunch.

    This was my second visit to Dovetail. Great experience overall. The food and cocktails were excellent and the service provided was very good. I find the vibe is energetic and inviting, where people want to meet friends, hangout and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere.
