   This is a wonderful location. I have been here before to visit the bar on adventures into the forest, but this was my first time having a complete dining experience. They're Valentine's Day service and menu was excellent. I am glad I chose to share this special day with Due West Olema.

   The Chicken pot pie is a winner. Drinks are well made and well poured. The staff are exceptional. Everybody.

   We really enjoyed our oysters, salad and entrees. Was a bit disappointed in the chocolate cake dessert and that the server forgot to bring us one side dish and coffee.

   We ate at Due West Olema twice while staying at the hotel, the food is good, well prepared & was served hot in an appropriate time frame. Local oysters are lovely of course. We felt the service lacking. New Years dinner reservation we were seated before the table was reset which was fine however no water was provided by the un-enthusiastic staff until halfway through the meal when we finally asked for it. Breakfast service was not substantially different. Not really what was expected considering the price point. Given the limited options in the area I would consider going back but would have low expectations for service.

   Very underwhelmed by the experience, in particular the lack of basic hospitality on a holiday like NYE (or any day for that matter). Virtually no greeting or warmth from anyone, our waitress asked straight away if we were ready to order before even saying a single hello, etc. Cocktails returned and not drinkable, food was decent but overpriced for quality. We were staying at the Olema House so it was disappointing that the closest food option was such a miss.

   Quaint, cozy ambience. Christmas brunch menu included comfort food we enjoyed: Due West rolls, pancetta hash and quiche. The service was friendly and attentive.

    Brought our Labradoodle puppy & sat out on the rear outdoor, covered deck, where dogs are allowed. Our first time sitting in the back, but with the heat lamps & plastic screening we were super cozy, warm & dry! Also, there are only about 8 tables back there, all of which seem great; but we had the place pretty much to ourselves with only one other party of 2 there which also felt pretty special. Our food was predictably delicious with the Chef crafting some pretty unusual combinations of flavors & ingredients & the service was also excellent.
