Established in 1983, Duner’s is a casual fine dining restaurant located five miles west of Charlottesville. The menu changes daily, crafted from locally sourced, seasonal ingredients under Relais & Châteaux Chef and Owner, Christian Kelly. Our extensive wine list, curated by General Manager & Sommelier Matthew Blaszak, ensures the perfect pairing for every dish.

•Bar Seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

•Parties are limited to 6 guests on Friday & Saturday.

•We allow 1.5 hours for parties of two and 2 hours for groups of four or larger. For extended dining, please book a reservation for 7pm or later/

•The Porch is heated in winter, cooled in summer, and open-air during temperate months. Enjoyable for both small parties and groups of 6-12. Also suitable for private events of 25-40 people when available.

•Parties larger than 12 must reserve with the General Manager by contacting 434-293-8352 or dunersrestaurant@gmail.com

•Closed Mondays

    Doon's dinner can be relied upon. The food is cooked and presented beautifully. The menu is changed periodically and often has interesting items as well as stand-bys. The restaurant tends to be a little on the loud side in the original dining room, but the other rooms seem quieter. Parking is a bit of a challenge basically because there are so many people at the restaurant. Still, you can find a place to park your car. The bar has a good selection of single malt scotch. Service was quite nice, we were well attended. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone.

    They made our anniversary very special. The beef tenderloin and grilled pork chop were outstanding.

    Duner's is a Charlottesville Institution, and once again was excellent. The atmosphere was great the the staff were pleasant about our delayed arrival due to traffic. The food was good and the dessert was excellent. Recommend to take families and for dates.

    Duner's was great, as usual. I had sweetbreads (without the sweet sauce) and oysters. Both were delicious. Service from Kayla was great. And we had a great talk with Teddy (a server who has been there since the opening).

    Duner's is always good. The dining room is pleasant; the food is excellent; the service is always good. The only problem, for a person like me who wears hearing aides, is that the dining room is very noisy. Not sure what can be done about that. Nevertheless, Duner's remains a favorite of mine.

    Everything was delicious. I wish my parsnip puree had been hot but that's me nitpicking. My daughter really enjoyed her pasta dish as well. Service was prompt and polite. I will return!
