Ilan Cohen is a self-taught chef who began his career in Jerusalem, Israel more than 20 years ago.
Along with his wife Lauren they opened Falafel Bistro & Wine Bar in 2007, DVASH’s sister location, and has been serving authentic-Israeli cuisine to the South Florida community for more than a decade.

DVASH, located in Boca Raton, showcases a modern twist on classic mediterranean cuisine. Imagined by Cohen’s daughter, Anabel Hochberg, the menu is designed for sharing and provides guests with the opportunity to travel the culinary world through their taste buds, using only the freshest seasonal ingredients and of course, a little bit of honey.

    Restaurant very crowded but seating outside easy. Food was terrific and very large portions with wine included. Will definitely return

    Great lunch with friend. Challah schnitzel delish. Portions generous. Comes with choice of accompaniments. Homemade chips beautiful but not as fresh as stove to table.

    We had a wonderful server. The food was good, just a little too salty. I wish the entree had a vegetable with it. The restaurant was extremely noisy so probably wont return.
