Our night started off not so great. We were seated in the bar area, waited for over 10 minutes with the bar tender passing by us with no acknowledgement. Another couple was seated behind us, which the bartender promptly addressed. She then told us we would have to wait. When I politely let her know we had been there 10 minutes prior to the other couple, she informed me that they had a reservation which we did also. Instead of ruining our evening we opted to go into the dining room. Our serve Chris was fantastic. He gave suggestions that were perfect. The food was excellent, steak cooked perfectly. We were both very happy to have such a great server as it turned the whole night around. We will go to the eagle again but avoid the bar. It is unfortuneate the same level of professionalism was not exhibited in the bar staff.

We are regulars at Eagle Landing and have always had great food and service. It is a pleasant spot to dine, and we have never had anything but great food and service. In the summer, the porch is open and is a lovely spot to dine. In inclement or cold weather, the dining room is fine. On this visit, I had fried fish and my wife had delicious ravioli, topped off by an outstanding Key Lime pie. Highly recommended!!!

Food was good, but ambience was lacking. Eating in a giant room that’s rather run down with just a bunch of tables was rough. Sticky toffee cake was a 10 and the short rib and turkey dinner were 9 out of 10.

A nice meal during our stay at Eagle Mountain House. My wife had the roasted turkey dinner. I had the maple pecan salmon. Both were nicely prepared and reasonably priced. Our server was very attentive despite being the only server working the dining room. The tavern and restaurant are definitely a solid choice if staying in the Jackson NH area.

I think Eagle Mountain House may be overlooked by many Who visit the valley. Not only is it a pleasure to stay in a lovely historic hotel, but the dining experience was a delightful surprise. All four of us had a delicious meal from salmon to short ribs to a fully plated turkey dinner. The staff was attentive and courteous. A+ all the way. Will definitely make the Tavern a stop whenever we are in the area.

The inn is absolutely gorgeous. The server was outstanding. However the food not so much. We got a nachos plate that looked like it had been sitting out and reheated. It was also cold. Onion soup was excellent. My friend got the ravioli dish which the raviolis were hard on the edges. My fish was just so so. We thought for the price the quality of the food should have been top notch. I live in the valley and work in hospitality and know how difficult it is. Hopefully with feedback things will improve because this place is a landmark gem.

We were 1 of 2 parties in the main dining room, and probably for good reason. Service was great, but food was average at best.

Open table was efficient. Restaurant was old, could use a little work. Meals were very good and filling. Waiter was excellent (Amer). Somewhat pricey but would come again.
