About this restaurant

  • Great for scenic views
  • Good for special occasions
  • Innovative
With access to panoramic views of Pendle Hill, and a range of seasonal menus, created and tailored by our Chef Patron, Doug Crampton, Eight at Gazegill is the epitome of a 'farm-to-fork' restaurant, being owned by and located directly on a working organic farm, Gazegill Organics, in the Ribble Valley.

Showcasing the best of the produce from the farm, which includes organic slow-reared pork and raw milk, and utilising the seasonal bounty that can be found in the surrounding hedgerows and countryside, Eight at Gazegill reconnects guests to nature through the food.

Our Brunch, All-Day and Sunday Lunch menus are suitable for all, while our Friday and Saturday evening Tasting Menu offers a more grown up experience. We also have specifically designed menus which are suitable to be eaten on our outside terrace area where the addition of a large purpose-built playground makes this the perfect location for families to enjoy the sunshine.

Had a meal here for our wedding anniversary, the food was lovely and well priced for the quality. The drinks however were very expensive. We made a note on our booking that we were celebrating our 12th wedding anniversary so it was disappointing that none of the staff acknowledged this. Putting this aside, the food was amazing, the surroundings were so lovely, and we had a great night.

What a gem of a find. We had a fabulous evening - had the tasting menu and it was all truely delicious. Thank you 😊 All of the staff were very welcoming and so well-trained - knowledgeable - which was appreciated. We’ll definitely return and have already recommended it to friends.

First time here and it was an overall lovely experience. The food and ambiance were excellent. We found the menu a little confusing to begin with but it was explained very well by the staff. My advice is take a choice from all three sections, Snacks, Small plates and large plates then don’t forget one of the exquisite desserts.

I am a regular diner at Eight at Gazegill and so was delighted to see some different items on the menu. The pollock was beautifully presented and so was the monkfish. The crem brule was the best I've ever had.

Lovely modern interior, with tables not too close together. The food was excellent, delicious and beautifully presented. Good service, but not intrusive. Throughly enjoyed lunch there.
