About this restaurant

  • Great for scenic views
  • Good for special occasions
  • Innovative
With access to panoramic views of Pendle Hill, and a range of seasonal menus, created and tailored by our Chef Patron, Doug Crampton, Eight at Gazegill is the epitome of a 'farm-to-fork' restaurant, being owned by and located directly on a working organic farm, Gazegill Organics, in the Ribble Valley.

Showcasing the best of the produce from the farm, which includes organic slow-reared pork and raw milk, and utilising the seasonal bounty that can be found in the surrounding hedgerows and countryside, Eight at Gazegill reconnects guests to nature through the food.

Our Brunch, All-Day and Sunday Lunch menus are suitable for all, while our Friday and Saturday evening Tasting Menu offers a more grown up experience. We also have specifically designed menus which are suitable to be eaten on our outside terrace area where the addition of a large purpose-built playground makes this the perfect location for families to enjoy the sunshine.

What a great find! Tucked away in the Ribble Valley at the foot of Pendleton Hill, this place is the perfect peaceful escape-especially on a warm summer afternoon. The three-course Sunday lunch was absolutely delicious and great value for money. Never had such tasty chipolatas (not the naf, overly sweetened ones you often get elsewhere). The service was spot-on—friendly and highly professional without being over the top. I also really appreciated the diversity of the staff, which added a lovely touch to the whole experience. Another bonus is being able to see the goats and cute piglets - the latter roaming freely around the adjoining farm. We’ll definitely be back! My only small criticism is the size of the plates for the main course. While lovely, they were a bit too small for the generous portions, which made it a little tricky to eat without the risk of spilling food onto the table. Would also suggest smaller cauliflower cheese portion, and more green veg.

First of all Eight at Gazegill is a hidden gem. When my partner and I arrived we were greeted with a friendly host. We were escorted to our table. It has a relaxing ambience and low music with a beautiful view, we also felt so relaxed and excited at the same time to enjoy six courses of beautiful presented food, each course was explained and camed out in a timely manner. We both enjoyed the meat and vegetarian menu and enjoyed the taste and presentation of our food. The dishes were expertly cooked to perfection. The Staff were very attentive. We have no issue with the price of our evening meal. My partner and I will be definitely going again.

Me and 3 friends came here for a birthday, l'd been before just to the farm shop and always wanted to try the restaurant. So glad i did, it was amazing. All the food was cooked to perfection, the presentation was beautiful, the chefs take so much care and pride with the food and you can just tell how much effort has gone into every dish. I really appreciate the fact that it's all organic and all the food comes from the farm it makes it a very special experience. The atmosphere was very relaxed and enjoyable. It's so lovely looking out of the windows all around the restaurant. My only criticism is the service with drinks was a little slow to begin with but they seemed to pick up the pace with our second round. The food came out super quick though. Would 100% return here.

We had the most amazing brunch for my mother-in-law’s birthday. The food and service was exceptional and I couldn’t believe how reasonably priced it was for the value. I’m so glad we found this delightful little gem and we will be coming back for sure!
