Eight Settlers Distillery & Restaurant is the culmination of a longtime dream to build a distillery and share the finest local foods with our community. Eight Settlers is a blend of the 1850’s traditional vintage western style with a modern twist of the second industrial revolution. Let me start by saying I am not a food critic. Sunday two of my friends and I came in for the first time for brunch. I had steak and eggs, one friend had eggs Benedict and the other friend had biscuits and gravy. The food was served cold, had no flavor and was poorly presented on the plates. None of us said anything til we left the restaurant and since I suggested it, I felt responsible for the negative experience. The building and view are incredible. Cocktails and service were good and the restrooms were very clean. Food was very disappointing.
