   Food was amazing. We looked at menu before hand and were not overly impressed, but when we got there and tried it OMG! Highly recommend. Ask for Luis as your waiter.

   We got the Elegante experience. We were stuffed and there were still 2 courses left! Very cool place, quite busy on a Wednesday evening. Excellent service.

   Having been to El Carlos Elegante several times, I feel that this is a great time for a review! Tried multiple dishes over time, and all of them are equally great. Just to highlight a few of my favorites are the Garbanzo Sope (bursting with flavors just in one bite), Salmon Ceviche (salsa is the boss), refried lentils (can't stop eating but super filling), Squash Tetela (omg you may become a vegetarian) and the whole fish (one of the best prepared fish in Big D). Nice thing is most of the dishes are shareable among 2 people, but after the 2nd or 3rd items, you may feel stuffed, yet the flavors and the taste keep you going. Typically bring half the entre home even when sharing. The combination of the well prepared sauces with the texture & full flavor in your mouth literally makes you feel like a kid in a candy store. Hence, you keep eating and ordering more & want to try everything! Consistency in the great taste and the exceptional service in a cozy hacienda style atmosphere makes this by far one of the favorites and the best kept secret in Dallas. Please do make a reservation as this place stays busy!

   Excellent food and service. One of my top meals recently, especially the scallops, beets and key lime dessert. Trey was friendly, knowledgeable and the perfect amount of attentive. Next time I’m in Dallas I’ll be back and I’ll bring friends!

   This place never disappoints! The curated menu from the chef is the way to go. Don't forget to do the wine pairing, just ask your server. Extensive cocktail list/menu that elevates the real star of the show, the excellent food. Service is great. We always look forward to the next visit!!

   Absolutely incredible experience! We had wonderful service, a complementary glass of chanpagne for our anniversary, and an absolutely stellar meal! I suggest getting the set menu, comes with on and off menu items. Will definitely be coming back. Made our anniversary so so special!
