El Novillo Restaurant is a family owned and operated Latin American Steakhouse, that has been operating its multiple locations in South Florida since the 1980's. We specialize in serving "Churrascos", cut from lean tenderloins that are grilled and marinated in our homemade fresh "Chimichurri" sauce.

We also serve 100% all-natural chicken breast, shrimp, fish, pork, and various other selections. Sensational appetizer options include fried cheese, refried beans, small meat tacos with sour cream, and more.

Finish your meal with our traditional "Tres Leches", "Carmel Flan", or "Pio-Quinto" Rum Sponge cake.
El Novillo keeps the Latin spirit going with its live music in the evening on the weekends, and special pricing for large group events, which include beverage, main course, and dessert, starting at and affordable $30.99 a per person. we have been here many many times , but Saturday was above and beyond the best time we have ever been their , like new and improved night wow , our server was just on point his timing was perfect even for water , i forgot his name but he has a arm tattoo young kid in his 20s , the food was spectacular like always , where they needed a little help was getting in even if you had a reservation but they were on point got that small detail fixed it was incredible wow

When perfection is achieved, you don't mess with it. They have achieved perfection year after year, and because of that consistency, my family and I keep coming back. Service is always excellent as well. Every server we've interacted with has been courteous and friendly. Keep up the good work!

Locale, food, service were all outstanding. The only issue was an alarm going off that obliterated the music. Don't know the reason the alarm could not be shut off. It's been a while since I dined at El Novillo and hoped they had kept the quality. I was happy to find out that they had.

This place was wonderful and I would highly recommend if you love Nicaraguan food, I really enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant very elegant and different and the food was amazing, the server was fast, proficient in English and Spanish, and attentive.

Went to El Novillo in Miami Lakes with our family and grandkids. It turned out to be the worst dining experience we've ever had. After ordering appetizers, two bottles of wine and a couple of drinks, we ordered our steaks. It took Betsy a half hour to come back to tell us they didn't have the big daddy steaks (16 oz churrasco). for any of us, which is what we all ordered. They said they only had two of them available and we were a group of 8 adults whom had ordered the 16 oz steak. We asked to give us each two smaller steaks (8 oz churrasco, which is also on the menu) to make up for the large one instead, and she straight out said no, that they couldn't do that. We asked for the manager to see what could be done since we didn't want to ruin our family dinner. The Manager came and said "sorry, we cannot do that, you guys can figure out what you want to order next" and he walked away. He was very unapologetic and very unprofessional. We couldn't understand how they could not combine 2 of the 8 oz steaks per person which equaled the 16 oz size one we had ordered. Seems like they just wanted to make this dining experience difficult for us for no reason. We dine out alot and I've never seen a restaurant manger act so rude and not give other food options or even say something pleasant. Betsy brought us the bill of what we had consumed and not even an apology (basically we paid for two bottles of wine which we left most of it behind because the intention was to drink it with our meals). Paid for the sampler platter which looked like a pile of cheese and sausage piled up on one plate (terrible presentation) and 3 drinks and one soda. For much less than what we experienced at El Novillo last night, we've had managers give us vouchers to go back another day and dine at their restaurants or even give a free appetizer and or deserts to compensate for the inconvenience. Not that anyone wants any free stuff, but it's a nice gesture coming from the restaurant..
