   We had the most AMAZING dinner at Ela Mesa Taste of Greece to celebrate my mom and my son's birthdays. The service and food were spectacular! We will be back! Thanks for making our night so memorable!

   Another outstanding visit to Ela Mesa, this time with visiting family! Had two entree specials (lamb and halibut) and one classic entree (chicken). Our server Wellington (yes, his real name) was superb. We sat outside in the perfect evening weather. This has become one of our regular places now, alone or with guests. The outstanding food, drinks, and ambiance here never disappoint.

   I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ela Mesa Taste of Greece, and I can’t stop thinking about the incredible experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome and seated promptly in a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff who made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The food was absolutely fantastic! We started with the [starter dish], which was bursting with flavor and perfectly balanced. For the main course, I tried the [main dish], and it was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and packed with bold, fresh ingredients. The sides complemented the meal beautifully, with each bite more satisfying than the last. Overall, Ela Mesa Taste of Greece offers a culinary experience that I can’t recommend enough. Whether you’re here for a special occasion or just a casual night out, you’re in for a treat. I can’t wait to return!

   The restaurant has a lovely environment (though noise echoes making it hard to hear). Boris’ service was delightful and the food was delicious. We loved the taste of orange honey cake at the conclusion of the meal. Looking forward to going back.

   Our waiter, Boris, made helpful entree recommendations and frequently followed up to make sure we enjoyed our meal. We had a birthday celebration and I highly recommend Ela Mesa!

   The food at this unassuming small Greek restaurant in Gaithersburg is the best Greek cuisine in the DMV in my opinion. The preparations are simple and extremely tasty. Our Server Boris was very knowledgeable about the menu and preparations. He was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The only negative is the lack of sound absorbing surfaces in the decor. The restaurant can get very noisy; probably best to go during the week.

   I would highly recommend Ela Mesa Taste of Greece. We had an absolutely delightful dinner there. The food was delicious. There were five of us, and everyone loved what they ordered. The service was excellent (thank you, Boris!) and very warm and welcoming. Everyone truly enjoyed the experience.

   First impression , it looked and seemed like they were understaffed. If this is the case, then take out orders should have been turned off to not impact the diners experience. 10mins and a wave down to place an order. The gentlemen who sat us seemed rushed and flustered. Feeling like they were over whelmed we placed our complete order: wine, appetizer, and entrees. We immediately received our wine and bread. Over the next 20 minutes, 3-4 take out orders went out the door and a table that was seated after us received their appetizer (same one we ordered). People completed their meals around us and tables sat dirty. Only when they needed a table did they clean it. After another 10 mins and zero communication from our server, hungry and disappointed, I left money for the wine and we left. This was not what we had anticipated as all the reviews talked up the great service.

   Our experience at Ela Mesa was wonderful. What made it especially enjoyable besides the delicious and fresh food, was our interaction with Boris, our server. He was so friendly and attentive to us. His service was exceptional and made our experience so enjoyable. We will definitely be back.

    I highly recommend this restaurant, both for the food and also for the extreme cleanliness. It was well attended and the food was delicious and fresh and very nicely plated.
