   this is my ist time here and the food were great! from our appetizer, shrimp cocktail to our main dish, tomahawk pork chop n ribeye steak, its really good. too bad we were so full we couldn't eat dessert! the only thing i was kinda disappointed with my cosmopolitan, the glass was so small. it was good but small! i recommend this place to everybody!

   Went there for my birthday with 5 other people. We had a terrible experience! Our waiter was awful. We waind 35 minutes to get our drinks, he completely forgot one on them. The pork chop was too raw to eat , had to send back. He never asked if we needed anything. The pasta was bland no flavor. After almost no service, he did nothing for my birthday and gave the check. There are so many excellent restaurants in Sarasota I would avoid this one coming. A waste of money!!

   The shrimp appetizer and lamb entree were too salty; we had to send the lamb back, which they did not charge us for, and the filet mignon was very good. Servers were nice but short-staffed. The bus boy took care of our table and the waiter showed up at the end of the meal. They were all out of the wine that I ordered. We were not offered a dessert menu, coffee or after-dinner drink; check came immediately after the entree.

   Good food and friendly service but not super attentive for only serving a few tables. Overall, nice sitting outside.

   The food and drinks were amazing, but the wait for the drinks and the food was unbelivable slow. We almost walk out of there. We had a 6:15 reservation, got there at 6 and we didnt leave the place until almost 10PM. I dont think that any of us in the group will go back. There was no excuse for the poor service.

   As on a previous visit, the food and wine were outstanding and very reasonably priced for the quality: the steak tartare and beet salad were particularly excellent preparations. My primary server Richard was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable, giving accurate advice on the oysters that would match my tastes. Unfortunately, he was "slammed", waiting on 19 guests at five tables at one point. I waited 25 minutes for a glass of white wine to go with the salad. Eventually an assistant manager took over the task of getting wine by the glass to the table. But this should NOT happen at a restaurant of the quality of Element. There needs to be an in-place plan so that any server who has too many guests to serve can simply ask the front desk for the predesignated alternate to step in. Otherwise, this was a fantastic experience and I hope to return.

   This restaurant ( unknown to us) was recommended to us by another restaurant that was under going renovation. Excellent service, wait staff cordial, friendly. and knowledgeable . We ate outside so quiet. Food excellent and its presentation was artistic. Servings were sized for a mature adult ( not large). Good drink selection. Dessert (good selection) and coffee (very good as many places lose "points" by serving inadequate tasting coffee).

   We knew the restaurant from previous visits We had never eaten a full meal before at this restaurant The food quality was exceptional The various servers matched the expectation The ambience was busy and pleasant to the eyes and the listening We made new friends at the next table

    First time dining at Element. Such a gorgeously appointed restaurant with beautiful chandeliers! We were seated at a quiet comfortable booth with Richard. Everything was first class and well orchestrated from the cherry smoked old fashioned. Those were followed by the best wedge salad I have ever eaten. My husband felt the same about his Caesar salad. Each had something added that made them extra special. Our main course was grilled snapper with delicious root vegetables. We topped it off with chai creme brûlée. It was our favorite meal so far on our Sarasota opera holiday. Richard and support staff were friendly and efficient. Element will definitely be a favorite for future visits!
