   Such a good experience, our server Leah was so lovely she took good care of us, the drinks were very good and food was delicious as always, would definitely recommend!!

   Hake was unfortunately off but salmon was good. Banana Copacabana was also off (Yes, we have no bananas! Though supermarket across the road was open!). Opted for Coffee Cantata instead but ice-cream was chocolate, not coffee.

   Don’t sit beside the window it’s freezing, waiting a long time for food at mixed temperature. Staff are nice but service is very very slow

   Always a fab place hence we regularly return. Staff are fab and atmosphere is lovely

   Eat here regularly, good food & service. One issue - there is a gluten-free beer option on the menu but we've been told for the last few months that it's out of stock. Can you please restock this?

   Went to E&C yesterday in Churchtown for the first time. I brought 2 American visitors and unfortunately we were all disappointed. Surprisingly given that we arrived at 14.00, the restaurant was just opening. We were the only people there for at least 30 mins till others arrived and the heating, which seemed to have been just turned on was pumping out cold air. All in all the atmosphere was not conducive to a happy lunch gathering. We ordered 3 burgers which took a long time to arrive, and when they did we were all disappointed with the quality of the cooking. The strips of bacon were rick hard and the buns for the burgers fell into pieces as soon as they were picked up. We all left a lot of our meal behind us and it was very disappointing for me to have brought my guests out for a catch-up meal only to be let down by the venue and the food. i wouldn't go back I'm afraid.
