   Good quality has fallen off a cliff. The famous wings were meagre, expensive and more sinew than meat. Even the chips weee bad. Tiny portion and all of them broken. Staff ignored us all night. Eventually someone asked if we wanted another drink… yes, I did want one a half hour ago when I finished my first…

   Haven't been to an Elephant & Castle in ages and it was great to be reminded exactly how good the offering is. Pity they don't still do omelettes, though.

   Lovely dinner last night before attending a concert. It was also a celebration for my mother’s 70th birthday. We had a lovely night. I had requested a candle for dessert for my mother and the staff brought it out and sang to her. Overall fantastic evening. Thank you.
