From Nick Mathers' Wish You Were Here Group, Élephante Scottsdale channels the spirit and cuisine of coastal southern Italy. Inspired by travels to Pantelleria and the Aeolian Islands, Élephante transports guests to the Italian Coast through thoughtfully designed spaces and seasonal menus.

    Decided to try after a friends recommendation. The staff was fantastic. Very kind friendly and attentive. Food started out great! Appetizers, small bites and salads all outstanding. Then came the main course. I can honestly say they were good. I guess we were so delighted with all the delicious appetizers that the steak and lobster kind of fell short. We will definitely go back maybe to try their pastas. I say give it a try and decide for yourselves.

    It was an unpleasant experience from start to finish. I think they need to do less covers and focus on service and quality. We didn’t see our server for 20 minutes and didn’t get water until about 20-25 mins. Plates weren’t cleared in a timely manner, we felt squeezed in our table and it was extremely loud. Food was mediocre and could use salt. Our server tried, but the staff couldn’t keep up.

    Food was delicious. Our party had the spinach, Diver Scallops, Branzino and Iberico pork. All were delicious. Finished off with the chocolate torta which was amazing! We all wished the music could be just a tad quieter. Nice atmosphere. Attentive staff.

    Nothing special… decor , seating or food . Everything very average… Did not order cocktails. I thought it was pricey , and selection not appealing.

    Hard to find first of all. No signage at all so give yourself time. The food though is top notch. We shared their signature bread with eggplant dip. We shared a wild mushroom pizza which is great! The decor is Mediterranean boho and very "cool". Very loud and unfortunately the tables are too close together where we were sitting. I was disappointed that I specifically stated online that it was my friends birthday and although they wished her happy birthday, most nice restaurants would offer a dessert. Nothing was even suggested to us. Bad business. Overall 3.5 stars.

    I had an 11:45 lunch reservations and was taken in about 15 minutes or so after that time, not a big deal but once seated there were many open tables and also seated in a dark area instead of the bar area where it was light and airy. Tables were right on top of each other where we were seated. Also had to ask the manager for a refill of tea for both my guest and myself. The tea was also very cloudy. Overall the food was good, service was okay but not great.

    My girlfriend and I tried out Élephante for the first time Sunday night. Overall, we had a really good experience. The hostess helped us get seated earlier than our reservation, our waitress Darrin was great, drinks were very good and food was also quite good. The ambiance and vibe of the restaurant is fun, inviting, and a sophisticated comfortable and relaxing. The only glaring issue is the restaurant seating layout along the walls in main dining room. The tables are far too close to one another almost to the point the person sitting on bench side can hardly get between the tables. It feels like far too many diners are being crowded into the space to provide a comfortable dining experience. For the price point of this restaurant, I would expect a little room and privacy to have quiet conversation with your dining companion. Thus, my 3 star on value. I have read other reviews that mention this as well. Get this dialed in and I think many will enjoy and return. Hint to others, ask for a table in the bar area which seems to be far less densely packed. Overall, we will be back but sitting in the bar next time. Pizzas,Iberia pork, and vodka sauce pasta were really good.

    Ambience is beautiful, food is tasty, service is kind but what goes above and beyond is Dario Dell’Anno, he is an exceptional manager who really cares about providing a quality experience!!!

    Everything we ordered except Tiramisu was phenomenal! Service was even better. The bar is a bit limited. However, that could be because they just opened a week ago. We will definitely be back.
