   Beautiful venue and predictably good food. The ambiance is perfect. Staff are courteous and bathrooms very clean. It’s what Darras Hall has been missing for years. Oh and the gift shop is fab, so many unusual gifts.

   The perfect venue for coffee, brunch, lunch or supper. Had an excellent brunch with family from Scotland and Surrey and they were very impressed from the minute we walked in, the service, food and surroundings exceptional. So lucky to have this on our doorstep.

   We had a really good evening - it felt so reminiscent of when I lived in Montreal and eating Cafe Cherrier on St Lauren! There was a mistake with our my order for the main course but this was dealt with absolutely perfectly (and generously). Service was excellent and the ambiance was really great!! Food was good and the wine excellent!! Elkwater is a great asset to the area! Mark

   Delicious Sunday brunch with friends at Elkwater, The food was tasty, the service friendly but efficient and prices were reasonable. Would highly recommend.

   Enjoyable experience. Sometimes you just want something local with a bit of atmosphere, and Elkwater provided that. Nice vibe, some live music, lovely cocktails, friendly staff and very good food with sizable portions.

   This was my first visit to eat at Elkwater and myself and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed our visit. As it was Shrove Tuesday, we opted for the crepes. We had, Brownie, orange curd and honeycomb, and the burned lemon tart crepes. They were the best crepes I've had. The staff were friendly and attentive. The whole place had a lovely atmosphere Will be back.

    Saturday morning family breakfast- excellent service, food and atmosphere in a packed full restaurant. 2 adults and 2 children. Excellent coffee also.
