   The seaweed salad is a must along with the sushi and spring rolls. The menu was a bit overwhelming with lots of different options so it was difficult to decide on what to have but I was quite pleased with what I ordered. Our server was very friendly.

   To start with, our server, Jay was extremely attentive, helpful and accommodating. She waited on us, was patient when we wanted pictures taken, when we asked many questions and recommended some really good options to us. She also brought us a complimentary dessert that the kitchen was working on for our opinion. She also remade one of our drinks when we made mention of it. She is a real gem. My favorite thing of the night was the broccolini and the Matilda chocolate cake!

   The ambiance is gorgeous, and the vibe is set by the music and singing. The servers are attentive and friendly. The food arrived almost cold if that. Plating sizes are very small for the price. The food was just ok... nothing to rave about. It was too expensive for the taste 😪 We were seated outside, and the people behind us began smoking...sigh. I wish they'd disclosed they allowed smoking under their verandah so we could have chosen a non-smoking area. Overall, I wouldn't recommend Elysium.

   Food was very good. Rack of lamb and calamari were particularly amazing. Didn’t love my cocktail and desserts were ok— Apple pie could been warmed. But would definitely go back. Decor is lovely and service excellent!!

   Horrendous experience. They messed up my reservation and did not have a table at all for my husband's birthday dinner reservation. Wait staff practically ignored our existence for over 7mins. After I had to wave to get someone's attention, they said "Oh" as realization dawned that we were not attended to and 'passed' some menus over a counter, over my husbands shoulder, behind our seating instead of coming to us. Tried to speak to us loudly from behind the counter instead of coming to where we are seated. Ignored us some more. We did not wait to get to the food as we suffered enough neglect to know it would have been a terrible night if it started out like this. Left after expressing serious disappointment in the lack of service and lack of attention. They were unapologetic. We will not be back to try the food as service is of paramount importance to a dining experience especially when one is paying for the experience of BOTH food AND service!

   We had a tasty lunch here. Portions are great for sharing a few plates. Service lagged at times and of course we always have to ask for serveware which is a hassle. But we do enjoy the decor and the variety of foods.

   We visited this restaurant after booking well in advance. When we arrived, there was some mix up with the tables and we were put on a lounge set indoors. The head waiter accused me of having my number blocked on OpenTable and hence why he could not contact me prior- which makes no sense! We had to literally beg and beg for menus, for someone to take our orders and even to get our orders. Each time, our server was rude and impatient. It was clear they were understaffed. The sushi was subpar, the lamb was bland and dry, the calamari and shrimp tempura were tasteless and unseasoned. The drinks were barely filling the glasses and ungarnished. We never received water in our water glasses, they remained empty for the entire dinner. The Matilda cake was a plain chocolate cake with ganache filling, nothing exciting. Overall it was a horrible experience for the price we paid. We won’t ever be returning. The owner visited the table and we told him the customer service was deplorable.

    Inside of the venue is really nice, the ambiance is really nice. Someone came right up and started our order which was really nice. After we placed our orders for starters it came out fairly quickly. Order main courses which was the lamb and thats where things started falling apart for us. They brought lamb but no steak knives. We ordered the lamb medium but got well done. The lamb also seemed like it wasnt seasoned very well. The taste was pretty bland. Service fell a little bit as we had to keep reminding the staff about other things that we had ordered. Order the tiramisu but that was just mostly creamer, not what I thought it would be. Also ordered the apple pie and ice cream but the apple pie was cold and hard. That should have been warm. Overall I'd say that Elysium is was average experience and the value could have been better because it was quite pricey for the quality.
