We tried the tasting menu with wine pairings. Delicious and inspired! The antelope was surprisingly tender. Sommelier explained every wine in great detail. Creative pairings with a rose sake served with dessert. Met the executive chef. Great evening!

Sadly, I had a bad experience. I have wanted to come eat here for many years, but not living in NOLA made it difficult. I was so excited to finally have the opportunity, but when we were seated, our female server behaved very strangely. I at one point turned to my fiancé to question if she was sober. Our orders came out, but were given to the wrong people at the table. My companions orders were delicious, but my lamb was undercooked, and extremely fatty and very small. The greens were cooked perfectly, however. Additionally, when we ordered dessert, the crime brûlée was too salty, not sweet, and the mango smelled and tasted like fish. I sent it back for the banana cream pie and it was better, but the bananas weren’t ripe and it defeated what otherwise would have been a delicious dessert. To say I was disappointed is an understatement and I can only hope Emeril takes a more active role in his business in the future because the people running it now are ruining it.

Food was superb as always. Service was lacking compared to prior visits. A must have meal any time I am in NOLA service was just slow and less attentive than I'm used to at this favorite spot.

We booked this as a surprise for my sister in laws 60th birthday. They had the best time and were treated so well by the staff. They were also very easy to deal with over the phone and making sure that they never saw a bill for the dinner !! We have been there before and wanted them to experience BAM !!!
