Emmy Squared has earned a following for its signature Detroit-style pies. The pizza here is rectangular and utilizes the "frico" technique, in which cheese is drizzled on the edges of the pie to create a crispy, cheesy crust. Beyond pizza, the menu includes salads and sandwiches, which shouldn't be ignored (think an attention-grabbing burger and a top-notch spicy fried chicken sandwich)! Did we mention this is Emmy Squared’s ORIGINAL location? Full service bar, local drafts & wine selection. Please note, there will be a time limit of 1 hour 30 minutes for guests so we can fairly utilize our limited capacity. Our outdoor dining is enclosed with heaters that will keep you toasty! So we made a reservation when we got there it was empty and so were the other tables. It was completely empty aside from us and two other couples however they sat us next to the door and it pretty cold. Aside from that the food just was not really that great we had the garlic bread sticks that were just extremely greasy and just too much cheese and I love cheese but it was just too much. The pesto pasta was another item that we’re not expecting to literally just be baked cheese with pesto sauce. The pizza was ok however it was just okay. We wanted other things off the menu however they stated they ran out or just didn’t have it. In my personal opinion it was just not worth $100 worth of food. The staff was friendly but the food as a pregnant person at that was just oily.

Margarita was nice, but the pepperoni pizza wasn’t great. Service was super average, ushered out as soon as closing approached.

Tasty gluten-free pizza and an amazing brussel sprouts salad. A bit too loud for the grandparents but they had a fabulous time at dinner.

Delicious pizza and food but way too dark in the basement to see the menu or the food. We were a young group and the lighting was really difficult to deal with when dining.

We showed up and were sat and nobody approached the table for 15 minutes. Finally the server comes to the tables and we order. 10 minutes later the server comes back to the table to ask us what we ordered, which kinda worried us. We then got one of our entrees and were wondering where our apps were. Our server forgot basically our whole order and only sent out one of the things and still had the audacity to come up to us at the end and say “You got everything right?. This is his now much not in top of his tables he was at this point I just wanted to leave and asked for my check. Knowing he messed up he sent a manager Brendon over which was very nice and he apologized and comped the one item we did receive. Overall though it was a horrible experience and I would never come back here again.

The service was horrible- the bartender was not friendly, or engaged and had no understanding about the wine. Drinks are premade. The pizza was ok

Service was incredible - staff were very kind and accommodating. Everything else was HOT garbage. From the incredibly bad music absolutely BLASTING, to the worst detroit style pizza I've ever eaten, to the soaking wet brussels sprout salad that looked like it was covered pale grey sludge. We didn’t drink alcohol and are not morbidly obese, yet somehow managed a $70 tab. Wouldn't go again.
