Welcome to Encanto, Los Feliz's newly relaunched wood fired Baja Coastal kitchen! Join us as we take you on a tour down the Baja Coast through vibrant, Mexican-inspired cuisine by Executive Chef Chris Lin. We had brunch here on Saturday and everything was delicious and our waiter was charming and funny. Delicious Bloody Mary’s and cornbread!

The restaurant overall is pretty. Food is good. However the $10 margaritas come from the draft and the tequila used in those almost killed me 😰 Worst hangover of my life and I didn’t even drink that much!

After having a fantastic experience for a birthday celebration (including a delicious complimentary flan to wish on) earlier this month, we decided to go back for another birthday celebration for two people (party of 7). It was a very busy Saturday night but we made a reservation in advance, told them about the birthdays when reserving and when we arrived and hoped to have a similar experience. It was not the same... at all. The servers/staff seemed slightly overwhelmed and it was very busy. After paying the bill and waiting around for a few minutes thinking there might be some sort of recognition of the birthdays, we were asked to "leave the table because they had other people waiting it". This was at an hour and 45 minutes. I understand it was busy but I also understand the standard max table time is 2 hours and I am NOT a person who likes to linger. We were already gathering to leave. It was a slightly embarrassing and downer of an end to an evening that should have been a fun celebration. Maybe a better place for a margarita and some tacos at the bar.

Poor and thoughtless, cold / tasteless junk food. How do places like this stay in business and hijack your wallet and then corrupt your taste buds for 24 hours. Stay away and opt for Taco Bell drive through or Ralph’s Frozen Food section. For real!
