I have been there many times but we had the unfortunate timing of having a server on his 2nd shift. Don’t get me wrong, I know people need to learn but I also know that restaurants cannot afford to train servers with supervision of experienced server. Food was slow as well. Had 6pm reservation so we could get to the 8 pm concert.

The service was very slow. We ordered fajitas. They brought out the fajitas and sides and said they would be back with the tortillas. We waited 10 minutes for our tortillas. I think they were understaffed.

We had amazing dinner! The fajitas were delicious and the steak was cooked perfectly! The margaritas were perfect. Looking forward to our next visit.

The restaurant needs a better ventilation system! Every time someone ordered fajitas the smoke was unbearable

Shrimp salad and queso were pretty bland but tacos margaritas and ahi tuna stack were really good and flavorful!

This was my first time at Escalante's. I judge Tex-Mex restaurants by their tortillas and fajitas. The beef fajitas were excellent—some of the best I’ve had. The tortillas were made fresh and good. The guacamole, made at the table, was a nice touch. I will definitely return.

We were offered free queso in exchange for completing a survey, then was charged for the queso. Food and drinks were good, but nothing exceptional.

Pretty good tex mex. one stellar item - the chicken - corn chowder - excellent. And the service could not have been better. Salsa and chips and complementary queso were all appreciated. We would go back. The fajitas and carne asada held their own! Finally - the beer was ice cold. Cerveza from!!

Service was great. Food was tasty. There was a party but they managed to keep the service level high although they only had one server.
