   As always an excellent time! Food was amazing as always and the setting is a great place to get together with friends! Chef is superb!

   Hidden gem in downtown woodbridge. Has a unique menu with flavourful options that all looks amazing. Was very happy with the oysters, duck breast, and lamb chops

   We had an amazing experience at this restaurant. Delicious food, beautiful plating. You can really see how the chef pays attention to detail, which made our experience even better. I ordered the cod and it was cooked to perfection, crispy and yet still moist.

   The atmosphere was quiet which was great for a conversation. We reserved a table for 5:30pm on a Saturday. The service was great. The food was delicious. It's an elegant and pretty restaurant. I would love to visit again. My friends and I had a great time!

   Last night's visit to Essence Bistro was nothing short of delightful. Tucked away in the heart of Woodbridge, this yet-to-be-discovered gem offers an exceptional dining experience. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed evening with friends. As for the food—simply amazing. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented, bursting with flavor and creativity. From the appetizers to the main courses, everything exceeded expectations. It’s clear that the chefs put their heart into every plate. The only thing missing is the vino de la casa, but otherwise, this hidden gem deserves all the recognition it can get! 😊

   The food was great. Liked the wholistic touch to the menu. The restaurant was not busy and we had to get up a few times to get the attention of our server. There was a lot of chitchatting going on amongst servers and kitchen staff.

   This is a diamond in the rough. Anyone who hasn’t tried this is truly missing out. Appetizers and dinner were outstanding. We had for appies warm olives, sourdough bread and flat bread. Dinner we had lamb, black cod, mushroom risotto and steak. We did have dessert (something chocolate) not as good as dinner but still good. Service was unbelievable and staff friendly. Also had a DJ playing great music.

    Not enough people have discovered this place. It should have been full on a Saturday night. An unpretentious place place with food that far exceeded expectations. Try the Italian eggplant appetizer!
