Seasonal Italian Restaurant. Focused on Handmade pasta, bread and pizza. We get all of our products as locally sourced as possible.

Why they're an Icon

Executive chef: James Trees

From the OpenTable editors: When James Beard-nominated chef James Trees opened Esther’s Kitchen in 2018, he helped put the Arts District on the city’s culinary map. Now in a stylish new space with an open kitchen and whimsical animal wallpaper, the refined Italian spot still turns out the same wood-fired sourdough pizzas and knockout pastas (get the rigatoni carbonara with snap peas) that made it an instant Vegas classic.

I love Esther’s for dinner however I was not impressed for brunch. If you are ordering the breakfast pizza ask to bring out with the rest of the meal. They brought this out about 15 minutes prior to everyone else being served which in my opinion is not ok. Would recommend highly for dinner.

Excellent food, great service, wonderful recommendations, would highly recommend. We went at 5:30 and it wasn’t very noisy as it was not full yet but by 6:15pm it was full and loud. So if you want to quiet dinner go earlier

This is an excellent restaurant! Our server was friendly and professional, and she was thoroughly knowledgeable about the menu. We had the house made sourdough with anchovy butter, fegatini, and nduja. All were really flavorful. The wagyu carne crudo was also delicious, the pickled chili made it pop. For our mains we tried the casarecce and the fazzoletti. The pasta was perfectly cooked. Both were hearty and had great flavor, but we agree the casarecce was the better dish. We finished with espresso and shared a butterscotch budino. It’s really rich, so one was enough! Overall a wonderful meal with great ambiance.

Unbelievable food and service. Our waiter was Caroline, she was outstanding! Cannot wait to come back. Too many amazing things on the menu to choose from. We had cauliflower, pizza and chanterelle pasta. Oh and a butterscotch dessert that was light and delicious, wonderful way to end our meal!

This is absolutely one of the best restaurants in Las Vegas. They do everything right. The food is outstanding! The pastas are made fresh daily. I had the pork chop and it was phenomenal. My wife had a pasta dish and was kind enough to let me taste it. Both dishes were exceptional. We can’t wait to return.

This is an American lunchroom with vinyl seats and plastic tables. The menu is mostly sandwiches and expensive bread. They also have pizza. The idea that this may be a very good Italian restaurant is absurd - there's absolutely nothing Italian about it. I doubt the chef ever set foot in Italy. There are many excellent Italian restaurants in Las Vegas. To scramble for a "hard to get" reservation at a diner like this is a complete waste of time and money.
