From the OpenTable editors: When James Beard-nominated chef James Trees opened Esther’s Kitchen in 2018, he helped put the Arts District on the city’s culinary map. Now in a stylish new space with an open kitchen and whimsical animal wallpaper, the refined Italian spot still turns out the same wood-fired sourdough pizzas and knockout pastas (get the rigatoni carbonara with snap peas) that made it an instant Vegas classic.

    Amazing food. Haven’t been since they moved into the new(much bigger) space. Nice to see that while the vibe, to be expected, isn’t the same, the food is still a knock out! Server could have been more friendly and hospitable. Didn’t understand his own wine list, and did a poor job in taking the wine order. He bounced back a bit, but was just a bit of a curmudgeon and not personable l. The rest of the staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and fun.

    As always, Esther’s Kitchen delivered excellent food and service. The Zucca and Lasagna were *chef’s kiss* and the basque cheesecake was to die for. Don’t miss out!

    Esther’s is one of my favorite restaurants in Las Vegas. With that said the expansion has distracted from the food and experience. The food and service were great however we sat against the wall on a 2 top and felt like we were in a cafeteria at the mall. It was loud and I had no room to move. It feels like Esther’s packed 100 tables into a room that fits 60 tables. Other than that it was really good as usual.

    We’ve been to Esther‘s many times for lunch, but this is my first experience for dinner. The food was excellent as was the service.

    Everything about our lunch was amazing! The Chicken Parm and Beef Dip sandwich was delicious. The chip! The best!
