Disappointing to show up for our reservation and realize the place is closed for renovations. It seems like they should close their booking system during this time and/or reach out to those with existing reservations.

Highly recommend the chopped salad. Best pizza I’ve had in Chicago. Amazing crusts. The five cheese is great in part because all the cheeses they use are some of the best you can get anywhere.

We arrived for a 4:15 early dinner before the Grant Park Music Festival. It was a pleasant evening and we sat outside. We ordered a nice bottle of white wine and a lasagna pizza appetizer. It was interesting with a delicious crust. We each ordered a pasta dish and both were excellent. Both were perfectly cooked, al dente, not overcooked as usual but with a nice crunchy taste. To finish the meal my wife had tiramisu and I had a chocolate gelato sundae. The tiramisu was large and big enough to share. The sundae was ok but I probably would have preferred just a dish of gelato. Service was excellent, attentive but not overbearing. This place is a hidden gem.

Excellent food for the Irene’s Finer Diner pop-up. The eggs were fresh fresh fresh with bright orange yolks. Chorizo was savory and balanced. Avocado had not a speck of grey or black. Perfect! Potatoes were crispy with just a hint of salt around the rind. Bloody Mary was tasty. A great experience.
