Service, drinks and appetizers were great. I ordered the tenderloin steak for my main and it didn’t taste very good. I actually didn’t even eat it , the mashed potato’s for the side was just ok. Exile is one of my favourite spots to go, but I was really disappointed. The price was $58 for the main which is more expensive than the keg, so I anticipated the steak to be done well. I will be back but maybe not for supper. The staff is wonderful though and I always get great experience.

Another enjoyable date night at Exile. Great food as always. Brussel sprouts are always part of our app order - delicious. We had stuffed chicken breast and braised short rib which were both excellent. The service was friendly and attentive.

I usually love this place for brunch but had a disappointing Friday evening visit highlighted by unusually poor service - vile Caesar bevy (was never asked how it was); poor knowledge of menu when we requested vegetarian choices (corn appetizer had bacon on it, which should have been shared with us before ordering); very poor quality dessert (crème brûlée was almost exclusively whipped cream) which again server did not stop back to check on so could not order an alternative. Then waited literally 30 minutes for our check. Wild - hope it was just an anomaly, but it was significant enough for me to take the time to write this review.

We arrived 5 mins early but were not seated for 35 mins and then no one served us for another 10-15 mins. When Matthew (our server) did show up, he was amazing and gave excellent service.
