The service we had was excellent. Our waitress was really knowledgeable about the oysters and she had perfect timing for checking in with us. The Lobster gnocchi was delicious, I highly recommend it.

I had very high expectations coming to Fanny Bay especially that everyone recommends going there when in Vancouver. I was very disappointed by the food: we ordered fried calamari, tuna tartare, geoduck sashimi, Truffle fries, lobster gnocchi, clam chowder and different kinds of oysters. The only dishes we liked were the fries and calamari, and the oysters were mediocre at best. I'm not sure if it was just a bad night but I really hoped the food would be better.

Food was mostly good. The soup was cold but was replaced. Noise was quite high. Ask for a low table and you might get the smaller room at the back. Oysters were great and service was excellent.

We keep coming back for the tuna tartare, the truffle fries and of course the oysters! So delicious. We also enjoy the clam chowder.
