   As each dish was brought out, it was better than the last. I don’t know how! It was a wonderful meal. Our server was as excellent as the food.

   Didn’t have standard seating like we reserved so they put us at a high top table after not seating us for 25 mins, first two courses were good but last two were bad, we waited an hour in between 2nd and 3rd course for a room temp steak that got pretty much cold after 2-3 bites. They understood and comped the meal but was a 3 hour dinner for no reason and I left still hungry

   Lost order on Valentines night as overbooked restaurant and resulted in 1.5 hour wait. Waiter ensured it was complimentary. Disappointing as last night with family on holiday and first date night with wife.

   We had our Valentines Day dinner at the restaurant and the restaurant was completely packed. Food was exceptionally good but kitchen was running behind and food was taking a long time to come out. We were constantly being informed about the delay and had our drinks comped. But at the end of the dinner Brian the manager at the restaurant didn’t let us pay anything for the dinner and took care of it all. He made our Anniversary Dinner special and unforgettable, we appreciate the grand gesture and thank the whole team and especially Brian.

    I rarely write reviews, but after booking dinner here a month in advance, I felt compelled to share our experience. This was our fourth visit, and unfortunately, it will be our last. We used to love The Fat Ox, but something has gone wrong. The tables were so close together that we couldn’t help but hear every conversation around us. The manager repeatedly told each table that the long wait—over an hour—was due to them “perfecting” the food. While the meals were generally good, the tiramisu was still frozen and dry. Our server had to be reminded multiple times to bring items, and the couple next to us was visibly frustrated after waiting over two hours for their food. In total, our meal took three hours, and the entire experience felt chaotic. Management seemed overwhelmed, service was disorganized, and the overall experience was disappointing. Sadly, we won’t be returning, and based on what we witnessed, it doesn’t seem like anyone there really cares. I wouldn’t recommend dining here.
