   My first experience here a few weeks ago was much better. The food was excellent. I reordered the meatballs, and today they were overcooked and not as flavorful. The spaghetti tasted good, but it needed more sauce. Thankfully the oxtail was just as good as last time. We were given a menu with item prices different than what was on the bill. When we double checked the online menu, some of the prices were significantly marked up from what they were a few weeks ago, so be aware of that. Service today was slightly better than before, about a 7/10. Overall, I’d stop in again if I’m in the area but wouldn’t go out of my way to return.

   I attended the FETE for the first time, I reserved a “Hightop” seat but wasn’t sure if that where I was seated, as there’s no description of seat chart, there was another area of seating up a small flight of steps. The staff were very friendly. I will say the dress code on website indicated “Business casual”, however there were patrons entering wearing street clothes and sneakers. For a restaurant-lounge area in downtown Boston I was also surprised there was a security screener doing pat downs and using the security wand, this made me wonder if I’m in safe environment. I’m going to leave a separate note for the FETE restaurant itself regarding the food, but I do feel the pricing is based off its location rather than its quality.

   We had the jerk lamb with eggs and my friend had the shrimp and grits and they were phenomenal. The service was amazing. It was our first time there, and definitely plan on returning to try the rest of the menu.

   Good vybz in the restaurant and the people working there are very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, the food and cocktails are too pricey. 1 person 2x cocktails, 1x entrance and 1x main dish, total price 98$ (including 20% of gratuities…)

   The food was amazing. They have a new dinner menu and drinks. I’ve gone in the past and wasn’t a fan but after today, I love this place.

   If you’ve never experienced Fete, you need to get there now!! The food and drinks are on point!! Our waitress was attentive, and friendly and engaging. Fete is a hidden gem in downtown Boston.

    The overall ambiance was very nice, good music and vibrant decor. The service lacked as we were not told about the Specials. The oxtails were flavored very well, but the rice was dry. The wings were really good and I would recommend the tres leche for dessert.
