    Firebirds is one of our favorite restaurants for special occasions. We like to celebrate New Year's Eve by dining out on the 30th in order to avoid the crowds on the 31st. Despite being there on the 30th, the restaurant was still bustling. We had a reservation for 7pm and were seated before 7:10. Our waitress was EXCELLENT - attentive without being overly attentive. I ordered the Cajun Sirloin with steak fries and a side BLT salad (a $7.50 add-on). I ordered my steak RARE and it was cooked to perfection (most restaurants tend to serve the steak medium rare when ordered rare). The BLT salad was exceptional and well worth the $7.50 add-on charge. My wife ordered the grilled salmon and shrimp with the BLT salad. Her entree was very flavorful but was not piping hot - it was warm but not hot. She brought her leftovers home and heated them up today and they were great. I'm a big fan of Firebirds and heartly recommend it.

    The restaurant was freezing cold - had to wear coat at table. This overshadowed the rest of the dining experience. Food was just ok.

    Waiter was good but a tad slow, I think he had several tables to attend to. Food was overall good, my shrimp salad was excellent. Everyone like the food EXCEPT: charred carrots were inedible. Hard and unchewable, a shame because flavor was good. Expensive but a nice place to take our guests. We will most likely return.

    My husband had the prime rib and declared it was the best he had had in quite some time. I had the Baja Shrimp Pasta because I’ve had it before and found it delicious- creamy sauce, large shrimp, crunchy vegetables. The ambience is warm and cozy; you can feel comfortable dressing casually or going dressed up.
