   My friend and I have eaten at Firebirds in Murfreesboro several times. Always great food and great service. It's one of our favorite spots in the boro.

   Firebirds is a proven performer for us. We know what we should expect as we’ve eaten at their locations in a number of cities. Occasionally they’re swamped with traffic and at those times you know to be patient. When they’re not, service is usually solid and accommodating. We had a nice, leisurely brunch and a pleasant time. We will be back.

   Dinner was phenomenal as it always is. Great food, drinks and service. We can’t remember our servers name, but she was fantastic! Our 4th time here and it did not disappoint.

   Disappointed with the food, pleased with the service. Ordered grilled chicken & asparagus, son ordered steak medium rare. Chicken was overcooked & very dry. Asparagus was close to raw & very woody. You couldn’t even bite through it! Son’s steak was cooked medium well. Both were redone & much better, but added about 20 more minutes to the meal. For as expensive as the food is, it should be above what you could get at Texas Roadhouse.

   We have been to Firebirds a few times and this by far was the worst experience there. We ordered the Lobster Spinach Queso and when it arrived at our table, it had pico in it which isn’t listed in the menu description. My husband has an onion allergy and wasn’t able to eat any of it. I ordered the grilled tenderloin salad. In the menu description, it stated that it was mixed greens. My salad contained only arugula which is my least favorite type. Our service was mediocre at best with glasses running empty and our server forgetting that dessert was included in a couple of the entrees ordered. Considering the price of this restaurant, the food and service should have been better. We didn’t ask for a manager or say anything because we were there with guests and it would have been in bad taste. Needless to say, we won’t be back.

    First time there. Wonderful menu choice. Don’t get app, all seemed to be on the heavier side and we wanted to save room for dinner. Meals were very good, cocktails good. Calista was a wonderful waitress. Nice pacing of the meal, nothing felt rushed.
