   This was a great experience. Even though it was Mothers Day I was there for a different special occasion. Our food was delicious and cooked as requested. The staff including a Manager was very attentive and helpful.

   It was very busy, and our reservation was running 20 minutes behind so not bad for a Mother's Day weekend. The reason for my average rating was the food. My prime rib was bland, my brothers rib eye was very tough.

   We used to go to Firebirds fairly often and always had a great meal. When it changed hands it seemed like it wasn't a good move. The food wasn't as good and the service was just ok. We stopped goin for a couple of years. Similar reviews on Yelp & Nextdoor confirmed that others share our experience. Then recently I started seeing more positive reviews about the food and service. We decided to try it again for my wife and daughter both Mothers for Mothers Day. I'm happy to say that it has returned to its great food and the service was awesome also. I'm glade we had this experience, because now we star going back again.

   The restaurant is nice and the service is good. I liked the atmosphere and the smoky smell of it. The server was great and tended to our table and the food was served quickly. However the food is more expensive than it’s worth. I got the 16oz dry aged Ribeye and i was pretty disappointed with it. It’s around $50 for the steak and Im afraid the value didn’t match the product. The overall flavor of the steak was bland and my best comparison was a ribeye from texas roadhouse. It’s a good steak but not a $50 steak. I could tell it was dry aged due to the slight earthy flavor in there but it was missing the softer texture and intense flavors that usually come with a good dry aged steak. It really just didn’t have the flavor I was hoping for, and it’s possible i had a bad cut but who knows.

   This has been one of my favorite restaurants since they opened. My last visit was not good but decided to try it again. Very disappointed and won’t be back.

   Edgar was absolutely fantastic! We took my mother and family there to celebrate an early Mother’s Day meal and he was on top of everything. Incredibly polite and attentive throughout our time there. His service would be excellent at an establishment that charges many times more than Firebirds. We hope to see Edgar again in future trips!
